DESCRIPTION:Safety meetings are open to all members of the SWCA.\n\n\n\nPlease note attendance is a requirement for all SWCA Retro participants (refer to your SWCA Retro Agreement).\n\nWithout company representation\, penalties are assigned in the amount of 5% of your total refund. Any particpating member company missing 3 of the 6 meetings will not be eligible to receive the refund share. \n\n\n\nSession 2: Building Relationships: Easy Ways for Leaders to Engage Employees.  \n\n            Leaders are often to initiate conversations about safety with construction crews\, and this happens for a variety of reasons.  For example:\n\n	They believe they must exclusively find undesirable behaviors and correct them\;\n	They are worried that the interactions may not go well\;\n	They are generally uncomfortable meeting or talking with employees who may be strangers to them.\n\n \n\nParticipants will discuss some simple but effective ways at breaking down barriers and building relationships that pave the way for future conversations about safety that are comfortable and productive rather than uncomfortable and confrontational.
