It is with disappointment that we have made a decision to cancel the SWCA Cruise In at the Drive In on Friday, July 31. Governor Inslee?s most recent stipulations about gathering sizes and a restriction on drive in events due to the spread of the COVID-19 virus is the primary driver for this decision. We have to keep everyone?s safety in mind. We think the idea of a family-friendly drive-in movie night, coupled with a show of classic cars is an exciting one and we may just give it another try in different times. The purpose of the event is to provide a physically-distant event that?s compatible with the intent of the phased re-opening approach for COVID-19. The outdoor space for the event is large enough that the group will be scattered appropriately to keep the physical distance. Other requirements will also be observed, including pre-packaged, single-serve grab-and-go movie concessions, facial coverings strongly encouraged, six-foot separations, proper sanitation, etc. Tickets must be purchased in advance.
