Fall Salmon Derby

The SWCA invites you to a day of fun for the whole family at our Fall Salmon Derby, with contest officials Jared Currie and Doug Martin!

Derby Rules and Regulations 

1. All fishermen must adhere to current Fishing Rules and Regulations.
2. Each angler must have a valid Washington or Oregon fishing license/tag.
3. Derby fishing area includes the Columbia River and all its tributaries.
4. Derby tickets cost $55.00 per person. BBQ only registration is $15. 
5. All derby tickets must be purchased by September 13^th, 2017 in order to be eligible.
6. Everyone in the same boat must have a derby ticket. If any person aboard any boat that has derby contestants fishing does not have a derby ticket, all ticketholders in that boat will be disqualified.
7. Anglers can only fish one rod per person. Two Pole Endorsements are not allowed.
8. Weigh-in is from 3:00-5:00 p.m. at the SWCA Headquarters: Collins Plaza, 7017 NE Hwy 99, Vancouver, WA 98665.
9. Any fish turned in after 4:00 p.m. are disqualified. Derby officials will make the final determination of prize winners.
10. The officiants will weigh one fish per person. 
11. Fish must be cleaned and gilled prior to weigh-in.
12. Derby officials are Jared Currie and Doug Martin.
13. Prizes and awards will be given along with a BBQ provided by NW Natural at the SWCA Headquarters upon weigh-in.
