We had a successful Trap Shoot on Saturday! It was great to see all the members who participated.  Shout out to all of the sponsors who supported this event & thank you for coming out even though it was record breaking heat!  Congratulations to our winners Bob & JB from Lakeside Industries!

  • THIS WEDNESDAY hear from Albert Schlotfeldt from The Schlotfeldt Law Firm on Contracting Strategies in a Time of Rising Prices and Shortages, followed on July 28th by Darcy Hoffman from Workforce Southwest Washington on their Construction Workforce Plan to help combat worker shortages.   • Retro check deliveries start this week! Be on the lookout for surprise visits from Gina and I as we make our deliveries.
  • Thirsty Thursday is back!  Join us Thursday, July 29th for the next Thirsty Thursday sponsored by Rim Riser!  4:00pm-6:00pm at 99 Saloon.  Happy Hour prices & appetizers compliments of 99 Saloon & Grill. It will be great to see everyone in-person again!
SWCA in the Community
  • The SWCA Advocacy Committee is re-engaging & looking for members to join the committee!  Email me to be added to our list.
  • The Clark County Development and Engineering Advisory Board is looking at Mixed Use Zoning to suggest code changes.  Do you have experience building mixed use developments?  We’d love to have your voice represented as the county codes are reviewed.  Contact me to participate in the review process or just to share your experience.

  • Do you have a Top Project you would like to see featured in the VBJ Top Project Award Ceremony on Thursday July 22 at ilani?  Nominations are being taken until June 30th at https://www.vbjusa.com/project-submission/.  We would love to hear about your work!
  • Join the Association for Washington Business for a discussion about Regional Transportation Issues in conjunction with the Greater Vancouver Chamber of Commerce – Tuesday June 29, 2021 at 7:30 am.  To participate in the event please RSVP to Liv Johnson by email at: livj@awb.org. It’s important that they keep track of the attendance given limitations of their conference room. So please RSVP if you plan to attend in person or by video conference.  They will send the call in link once they have the reservations.
